Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with Media Paddle. If something isn't working as expected, please contact us first and we'll do our best to resolve it.

Subscriptions

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain full access until then.

We do not offer refunds for the current billing period. If you cancel mid-month, you will not be charged again but no partial refund is issued for the remaining days.

Credit top-ups

Credit top-ups are non-refundable once purchased. Credits do not expire and can be used at any time.

If credits were not delivered due to a technical error on our part, please contact us and we will investigate and remedy the situation.

Exceptional circumstances

We will consider refund requests in the following circumstances:

To request a refund under these circumstances, contact us within 14 days of the charge at hello@sciencesplained.com with your account email and a description of the issue.

EU / UK consumer rights

If you are a consumer (not purchasing on behalf of a business) based in the EU or UK, you may have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of purchase. However, by using the service immediately upon purchase you acknowledge that the right of withdrawal may no longer apply once the service has been performed.

How refunds are processed

Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via Paddle, our payment processor. Processing typically takes 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
